Bhumika Chawla was born on 21 August 1978 as Racha Chawla, she was born in New Delhi, Punjabi family. Chawla has starred her work in the Telugu film industry, with the feature film Yuvakuda with the co-star Sumnath. After that she has done many Tamil, Telugu, Hindi movie with many prominent actors even she gas worked in Malayalam, Punjabi movies also. She was nominated for Filmfare for Best Female Debut and Star Screen Award for Best Actress for her famous hindi movie Tere Naam with co-star Salman Khan.
