Raveena Tandon

Raveena Tandon was born in Mumbai on 26 October, 1974. She is daughter of famous director Ravi Tondon. Raveena has completed her schooling from Jamnabai Narsee School, Juhu and college from Mithibai College, Mumbai, but when she was in her second year of college Raveena got the offer of her first film by Shantanu Sheoey and she accepted the offer. After that she drooped from college and made her career in film industry.



Her first film was Patthar Ke Phool which was hit movie in 1991 and same year she has received Filfare Lux New Face Award for debut performance. Raveena has given many big hits movie like Bade Miyan Chote Miyan with co-star Amitabh Bachchan and Govinda., Khiladiyo i khiladi, Dus. In year 2001 she has won National Film Award for Best Actress for her performance in Kalpana Lazmi's Daman:AVictim of Martial Violence.

Raveena had adopted two girl children Pooja and Chayya when she was unmarried in 1990. She was engaged with actor Akshay Kumar but it was not a successful relation. But after meeting with Anil Thadani, Raveena ties knot with him in the year 2004 in Udaipur, Rajasthan. They has two children Rasha and Ranbir.
